Our History
2002: SG’s first fully automated trading algorithm goes live on NYSE and NASDAQ.
2005: SG formally incorporates and the team grows rapidly.
2007–2008: SG’s robust custom software and risk management are tested as we continue to make markets during high levels of volatility.
2009–2012: SG continues to thrive in a post great recession world due to firm financial footing and sound business practices that keep the company in sync with the current reality.
2015: SG launches new office in Florida trading futures markets.
2020 and beyond: SG continues to enjoy the challenges of leveraging technology to unlock increased efficiency in the financial markets and empowering people who are truly passionate about technology and trading.
